How to know if your beauty products need to be toss out!

Just like your wardrobe that you can hold on to for years and not use them, beauty products are different and can go bad, and when they do, using them can be unhealthy and harmful to your skin. The best way to avoid this is to keep buying multiple products with the same purpose at the same time. But if it is unavoidable here are some tips to know when to throw those products.
Moisturizer
Moisturizers can loose its freshness after six months. Make sure to seal those bottles or tubes correctly to make it last longer and avoid bacteria build-up.
Foundation (Cream&Liquid)
Cream foundations are much longer to expire than of liquid foundations. You can tell when you have to stop using them when the cream foundation is already rotten and the true color of the foundation becomes lighter. For the liquid foundation, simply give a quick shake and if the color and the oil ingredient are still separated then its time for it to say goodbye. You can also tell weather you have to throw it out by smelling it. If the smell differs from the smell of the original scent when you first used it, then you have to loose it.
Powdered Products (Blush, Eye Shadow, Powder)
Pressed powder products have a much longer life time than cream or liquid products. If you’ve had that blush or eye shadow since the 2000 to 2008, obviously chuck it. But if you’ve had it a year or two, and it still seems ok, you can hang onto it a bit longer.
Lipstick/Lipgloss
The best way to tell if your lipsticks should be thrown away is by giving the tube a quick sniff. You will be able to smell if it’s gone sour, which usually is after three years. Lip gloss can turn after about a year and will become too sticky in texture.
Mascara/Liquid Eyeliner
Fortunately, it’s easy to know when your mascara or liquid eyeliner should be thrown out; your mascara or eyeliner liquid becomes dry, clumpy, and hard to apply. Plus, old mascara or liquid eyeliner tubes can contain unhealthy bacteria, so ditch the tube when the liquid becomes pasty. And this usually shows after three to four months.
Perfume
Your favorite fragrance will usually last up to eight years after it has been opened. Want to keep it smelling fresh even longer? Store it in the fridge! Oxidation—the process that changes a scent and it happens quicker in warm environments.
Brushes
It’s simple to tell when your brushes are ready to be dumped: Just eyeball them or feel them with your palm. If the bristles are pinched, frayed, or falling out, it’s time to invest to a new brush.
Sunscreen
Luckily, most sunscreens have expiration dates on them, which is typically about one year. So don’t start collecting for summer and just buy as needed.
Nail polish
Your favorite nail polish bottle can only last in a year. So how would you know if they are ready to be thrown out? Just give it a quick shake. If color remains separated even after a quick rattle, therefore you have to toss it.
