Product Review: Eye Primers (ELF x PALLADIO)

After resting awhile from doing product blogs I decided to write again and start with a review on these following eye primers.
One from ELF cosmetics and the other from Palladio make-up brand. It’s gonna be The Battle of Eye Primers! Haha! Kidding.
Let’s start with ELF Eyelid Primer…

One of the eye primers I really love… Here in the Philippines, ELF eyelid primer comes with only one shade compare to the other countries that have four. The packaging is pretty basic, nothing too flashy. I particularly like the fact that the primer comes in a clear tube so you can see the color of the primer and at the same time how much is left. It comes with your standard doe foot applicator, simple enough. The label on the bottom of the tube tells you of what shade it is.
ELF eyelid primer has a thick liquid texture and content, it can last longer and can hold any kind of eye-shadows. It is easy to blend and it is perfect with my skin tone. I also found out that it dries quickly too, giving a great base for my eye-shadow to stick-on to. And the price… I’d say it’s a bargain, compared to other primers like Urban Decay Primer Potion. In my hunt for good quality eye primers, this is one of the most affordable, I’d say. Really great deal!
I’ll score this primer 4 and a half points out of 5! :)
And now for Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Primer

The packaging is pretty basic as well. It comes in a black tube, quite a disadvantage cos’ you cannot see the color of the primer and how much more is still inside. It also comes with your standard doe foot applicator and the label that tells you the shade is also at the bottom of the tube. It only comes in one shade that fits to all skin tones.
What I love about this primer is it’s ingredients, it’s all natural… A herbal eye-shadow primer that will not harm your skin! Enhanced with 5 different herbal extracts as well as Vitamins A, C and E, this sheer, silicone-based formula glides on like silk and then vanishes instantly, and it also has a smooth finishing. It only has a thin texture, so you have to re-apply if needed. Aside from that, this product eliminates creasing and ensures maximum shadow vibrancy all-day, so I guess this product works very well for your everyday make-up.
I’ll score this primer 4 points out of 5! :)
Sorry for not having any samples or swatches on this post… I’ve used a low res camera on this one… But no worries I’ll be blogging a make-up tutorial using these eye primers! :)
Watch out for more product reviews and tutorials soon! XOXO! :)
